Green bubble bursts: EU pet project Northvolt crashes and burns

The Swedish company Northvolt was propped up by public funding from the EU and European governments as a climate-friendly manufacturer of electric vehicle batteries, and was instrumental in the so-called electrification. Last week, the company filed for bankruptcy following months of mounting scandals and economic crises. Glen Hodgson of the Free Trade Europa think tank explains how this political travesty in Sweden may impact the rest of Europe and the EU’s ”green” agenda.
