Is the EU Seizing Control over Switzerland?

The European Union (EU) giving permission to start negotiations with Switzerland to improve their relationship. The goal is to update their agreements to make sure companies from both places compete fairly and that EU citizens living in Switzerland are treated fairly. The negotiations will cover various areas such as rules for markets, financial contributions, and participating in EU programs. Both sides will talk at the same time about different topics, and progress will be reported back to the EU. This decision comes after previous talks between the EU and Switzerland didn’t work out, so they’re trying a new approach now. The Swiss government has also agreed to start these negotiations.
