New woke monument to tower over Londoners – "Designed to offend"

The new artwork on Trafalgar Square’s fourth plinth, ”Mil Veces un Instante” (A Thousand Times in an Instant), features over 300 masks representing so-called transgender and non-binary individuals. It aims to unite the global trans community and includes personal touches like lipstick and false eyelashes.
But the artwork has been criticised in conservative circles, who deem it to be a form of progressive political activism with no aesthetic values. Riks Europe has spoken to Fred de Fossard, Director of Parliamentary Affairs at the Legatum Institute.
