Spanish power outage: A wake-up call about the failure of green energy?

The entirety of Spain and parts of Portugal and France were the victims of power outage on an unprecedented scale on April 28th, that lasted up to 12 hours. The incident, likely caused by an over-zealous belief in unreliable energy sources such as wind and solar power, should be the wake-up call for the rest of the world regarding the dangers of the ”green transition”, says Jorge Gonzalez-Gallarza, a fellow at the Centre for Fundamental Rights in Madrid.
