The EU has pumped up the green bubble – now it is starting to burst

”Green bubbles”, or an overconfidence in projects relating to the green transition, are starting to strike Europe, says Christian Sandström, associate professor and author of many works on green economics and related topics. It may have started with the collapse of the Swedish green battery manufacturer Northvolt, and it is the policies of the EU that is driving the bubbles, he says. Sandström is speaking at the European Conservatives and Reformists’ study days in Stockholm.
