Women Targeted in Syringe Attacks at French Summer Festival

Across France’s nationwide street music festival, a total of 145 people—primarily teenage girls and young women—reported being pricked with syringes at multiple locations, including Paris (13 cases), Metz (17), Tours, Évreux, Rouen, Angoulême, and others
In many cases, victims reported feeling unwell; several were taken to hospitals for toxicology tests .
